We took the challenge of driving 20 hours to a show…and added a few shows on the way back in Budapest and Prague! It looks like we’re about to hit the road real hard real soon! Looking foreward to tour a bit and see new faces!
Released! Supamolly on Feb 16th and album available!
Our record release show at Supamolly was sold out half an hour after the doors opened, we apologize to all those who couldn’t get in! It was a great evening though, and we want to thank our guests singers Doc Dressla, Saralène and Terrence Bowry as well as Johannes Schleiermacher of Woima Collective who joined on the bari sax for an interpretation of Fela Kuti’s “Water no get enemy”!
We also had a nice warm-up show the day before at Kassablanca in Jena, a wonderfull venue!!! Nice vibe, great area and great people! Our new album is now available on all known plattforms. A perfect week end!
We’ve been recording 10 songs at Studio Erde over the summer…We decided to record as we play, together in one room, trying to reduce the amount of overdubs and post production, performing all effects and dubs live as we do during our performances, as well as on our last self made recordings…Our friend and engineer Pepe Göpelt will be taking care of the mixing process over the next weeks!
This way we hope to get a large, roomy, honest and dynamic sound, going away from clinical over- produced sounds as we know them from the modern dub and dubstep scene…we’ll see what it sounds like in the end!
We had a pleasant visit from our Friend Saralène at our last show in Shokoladen, she jumped on stage and we played two cover tunes with her, with no previous practicing or so…it felt so right we all decided to do more of that in the future…Saralène will hence be featured on our next studio productions and we ll be playing with her at Rider Higher Festival on july 13th somewhere in Bavaria…
Here s a stereo FOH recording of those 2 tunes performed at Schokoladen, so you get the vibe!
We have the honor to be listed on this year’s edition of the Listen to Berlin Compilation!
So give it a shot and listen to Berlin on SoundCloud … put out by the Berlin Music Commission and distributed by Piranha Musik…We were chosen along with 17 other artists, bands or DJs, to represent what could be Berlin’s sound…The compilation is available for free where Berlin’s music is officially represented…
Thx everyone for a beautifull and exciting tour! The line up worked out well and the shows were great!
Being squeezed with 9 guys (BWW+ Braintheft) in our Van “Bumpy” turned out to be more fun than trouble. We had a day to chill out at Gasuli 04 in Brescia and managed to produce a common track with Braintheft: Watch out for the Brass-Thefts coming ahead!!!!
Can’t wait to get back on the road again…More pictures to be found on our Facebook page
We decided to team up with our friends from Braintheft and are now putting shows together in central Europe, Austria and Italy for the end of may and the beginning of june. Sounds like filthy Basses are coming! Check Tourdates for more infos!
